About Us
Our team, based at Riverdale High School, is a second-year team in the FIRST Robotics competition. Robotics is an extra-curricular activity in which our team meets to brainstorm, design, build, test, and refine robot designs and programs to solve a challenge.

Our team is divided into three sub-teams. We have a mechanical/design team, which is responsible for coming up with a logical robot base design, drawing our robot in Autodesk Inventor, and building the robot drive train and manipulators.
Our second technical team is the electronics/control systems team, which takes charge of wiring and programming the robot and the controllers and ensuring good human/robot interface.
Our final sub-team is the marketing team, which takes care of the business aspects of the team. These include project management, fund raising, community event planning, recruiting, scouting other teams, and designing and ordering buttons and T-shirts.
